It was a beautiful day in January to visit our school's gardens. We got to see winter vegetables growing like cabbage, lettuce, kale, broccoli, and cauliflower. We even got to pick baby carrots. The children loved pulling the green tops out of the soil to discover the orange carrot growing below the ground.
