Look at the cool Luna Moth Heath
found on his nature walk.

Check out this great website for more
pictures and information about Luna Moths:
A
luna moth perches on a leaf, its bright green wings folded over its body.
Suddenly the insect spreads its wings to reveal their great size. This moth's
wingspan can stretch four and a half inches—that's about the same length as
an iPhone. CATERPILLAR CRAVINGS Found only in North America, the luna moth
starts out as a very hungry caterpillar.

Songs
Sing "Five Little Monkeys
Jumping on the Bed." Give your child 5 animals crackers (or anything
you like to represent the monkeys.) Have him spread his crackers in a
line on a napkin or sheet of paper, the "bed." Sing the song
again and have your child move one animal off the bed as you sing each verse of
the song. Repeat until there are no more (zero) monkeys jumping on the
bed. Discuss what zero means. Repeat with other familiar counting
songs such as "Five Little Ducks" or "Five Green and Speckled Frogs."
